More than 100 professionals gathered, including key figures like Lin Lin, President of the China Printing and Dyeing Industry Association, Li Ruiping, President of the Garment and Clothing Printing Branch, and executives from top clothing brands such as Yishion Group. Industry experts from universities and research institutes also participated in the event, fostering a collaborative environment for sharing insights and exploring future directions.
Yuan Xianmin, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong PO-TRY, delivered a special report on “Technical Analysis of Digital Transfer Printing Process.” His presentation highlighted the growing role of sublimation printing in the industry, emphasizing its ability to meet the needs of small-batch orders with quick turnaround times. Yuan discussed the key advantages of this process, such as high accuracy, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, and the ability to produce vibrant, multi-color designs, making it a dominant technology in the transfer printing sector.
He noted that the future of digital printing lies in further intelligence, efficiency, and sustainability. As consumer demand becomes more personalized and diverse, the printing industry will need to evolve with flexible solutions that cater to these changes.
Yuan also stressed that the digital printing industry still holds vast potential. With nearly 15 years of development, sublimation printing has already achieved mass production, cost reduction, and scalability. Looking forward, he believes that the focus for R&D should be on enhancing mechanical structures, improving printhead technology, upgrading control boards, and refining inks.
As one of the supporting units of the conference, PO-TRY (under the name Guangdong Baocai) continues to push the boundaries of textile digital printing. By committing to technological innovation, PO-TRY is dedicated to providing the industry with high-end digital inkjet printing equipment and advanced solutions to meet evolving market needs.
